Vintage cards, gifts & treasures

Genuine cards and gifts from the 1960s and 70s. Kept, moved, and finally opened.

Helen Schabinger ran card shops and beauty salons near Chicago, and later in Colorado. When we left in 1972 she brought every last piece with her, and kept collecting. This is what she saved.

Everything here is real period stock, not reproductions. Vintage greeting cards still in their sleeves. Costume jewelry loud enough to earn a second look. Figurines, aluminum Christmas trees, hand-blown ornaments made in Poland in the 1950s, craft supplies, vintage clothing, and the small strange treasures that collect over a lifetime of shops, resale finds, and yard sales. One of a kind, first come.

Decades of taste, saved and curated
